The United Way of Miami-Dade and Broward, Memorial Hospital Foundation and Chaminade Madonna College Preparatory School are among the organizations that participated in their very own "Day at the Races" at Calder and received thousands of dollars in the process. These groups invited supporters, volunteers and celebrities to Calder for a fun-filled day of racing. Calder made sizeable donations to each and also made a financial contribution for every person that attended the track on behalf of the organizations.
